Who we are

     This crazy little dream has become a reality. I began piano lessons at the age of 7, building the foundation for so much of what I do now. Piano was hard, competitive, and rewarding for me, but by the time college came around, I wanted more. I chose to study music education with an emphasis on voice and at this point, the love and the dream really sparked.

     I always taught lessons as a fun way to work in music, and in March 2023, I thought, 'Why not really make this something?' My husband, Jaden, and I got married shortly after, and with his business experience, we combined our skills to open Ruston Music officially. We started in a closet in 2023 and moved into a larger space in 2024. Then, in February of 2025, we stepped into our new home on 503 Hollingsworth Way.

     Our team of teachers has been a huge factor in our success, as they pour their own love of music into students daily. Our teachers have come from all aspects of music study, some from childhood, some from church, and many Music Education students at LATech.

     It has been a joy to come alongside students as they not only learn music but learn to LOVE music and we are excited to see what’s to come!
